Exhibition Held in China
The machinery and electronic industry is the
backbone industries of the national economy
and the industry that is mostly involved in
the exhibition industry. When it was established
originally, CCPIT MSC managed, organized and
coordinated the domestic exhibitions of foreigners
as the exhibition office of machinery and
electronic products. Later, as an exhibition
organization, it organized or co-organized
some specialized international exhibitions
in China according to the demands of industry
and market. Ever since the Export Expansion
Exhibition of Machinery and Electronic Products
held in 1988, the first of its kind in China,
CCPIT MSC organized more than 10 types and
30 sessions of exhibitions, including two
sessions of International Electro-mechanic
Integration Expo, Famous Machinery & Electronic
Products Exhibition and China International
New Agricultural Technologies Expo, five sessions
of Beijing International Environment Protection
Technologies & Equipment Exhibition. Meanwhile,
it co-organized over 20 different professional
exhibitions. The 1st Session of China International
Power Transmission and Control Technologies
Exhibition held in Beijing in Oct., 1991,
was a key exhibition project jointly held
by CCPIT MSC and Deutsche Messe AG Hannover.
Since 2004, it began to be held independently
by CCPIT MSC and was named as PTAC China.
Currently, PTAC China has turned out to be
the largest exhibition in the power transmission
industry in the northern part of China. Beijing
International Construction Machinery Exhibition
& Seminar (BICES) is a celebrated biennial
international exhibition jointly held by China
National Construction Machinery Corp. (NCMC)
with CCPIT MSC and other association. Currently,
BICES has already become the largest construction
machinery exhibition held in China and joined
in UFI in 2000. The 8th Exhibition held in
October, 2005, attracted 653 exhibitors, including
287 foreign exhibitors from 26 countries and
regions. The exhibition area amounted to more
than 100,000 m2 and the exhibition booths
were far from being enough to meet the demands
of the exhibitors, the scale of which was
unprecedented. The Bauma China exhibition
held in Shanghai since 2002 was a biennial
exhibition of famous brands jointly organized
by MESSE MUNCHEN INTERNATIONAL with CCPIT
MSC and other association. In 2004, the scale
of the exhibition amounted to 100,000 m2 and
more than 700 enterprises throughout the world
participated in it.
